Terms of Service
These terms govern use of pdf2paprika.com. Last updated October 29, 2026.
The service
pdf2paprika converts a text-based recipe PDF into a .paprikarecipes file you can import into Paprika. Photo uploads are refused. The site is operated by the site operator of pdf2paprika.com. Contact hello@pdf2paprika.com.
Accounts
You may use the converter as a guest or create a free account with an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, shares credentials, or breaks these terms.
Free use, credits, and Pro
Guests get limited daily conversions. A free account gets a higher daily free quota. Credit packs are one-time purchases: $2.99 for 20 credits and $6.99 for 60 credits. One credit converts one PDF (up to 25 MB and 100 pages). Credits do not expire and stay with the account email. Pro is $4.99 per month and allows 30 conversions per day with the same 25 MB / 100 page caps when you are out of credits. Current limits are on the Pricing page. Paid checkout is processed by our Merchant of Record (Waffo Pancake). Their checkout terms and tax handling also apply to a purchase.
Refunds
Digital products are generally non-refundable once delivered. If unused credits remain after a purchase error, a duplicate charge, or a service failure on our side, email hello@pdf2paprika.com with the account email and order details. We will review reasonable refund requests in good faith. Pro cancellations stop future renewals; past periods already used are not prorated by default unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing.
Acceptable use
Use the service for lawful recipe conversion only. Do not upload malware, attempt to overload or probe the site, scrape beyond normal personal use, reverse-engineer payment flows, or use the converter to process others' confidential material without permission. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.
Your content and our IP
You keep rights to the recipes and PDFs you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that file only as needed to run the conversion and return the download. The pdf2paprika site, name, and software remain ours (or our licensors'). Paprika is a third-party product; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Paprika Recipe Manager.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is." Conversion quality depends on the PDF (selectable text vs scanned pages). We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, perfect extraction, or fitness for a particular purpose. See the Privacy page for how uploads are handled.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after a posted update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes to paid plans will be described on Pricing or noticed by email when practical.
